CHOREOGRAPHIES

BRIEF
Flux Projects approached me to design the visual identity for Choreographies, an exhibition series exploring the dialogue between body, technology, and space. The works (spanning video, sculpture, and photography) focused on bodies in motion, from the anatomical to the metaphysical, and were exhibited alongside an installation by research-based studio ANOTHERFORM, inspired by the body’s structures of skin, energy, and movement.

APPROACH & CREATIVE DIRECTION
The challenge was to create a visual identity that reflected both the conceptual and physical layers of the exhibition. My approach was to build a design system rooted in movement, fluid yet structured, that could mirror the way choreography acts as a portal between inner and outer experiences. The identity needed to resonate with both the artistic and architectural elements of the show, bridging body and environment in a cohesive visual language.

EXECUTION & OUTCOME
I developed the exhibition’s logo and marketing collateral, crafting a visual identity that felt contemporary, refined, and responsive to the themes of the series. The design incorporated tactile and dynamic qualities that nodded to the physicality of the body, while remaining minimal enough to sit comfortably alongside a diverse set of artworks.

The result was an identity that elevated Choreographies as both an art series and a cultural statement, capturing the tension and beauty of bodies in motion, while providing a strong, recognisable framework for promotion and engagement.
